* Events: Swanpool Litter Pick Bird Watch and Clean Up

  Printer-friendly page Print this story

Events A litter pick, bird watch and clean up of Swanpool Nature Reserve and Beach will take place on Saturday 12th April from 10am to 1pm...

The event is organised by the Swanpool Forum in partnership with Cornwall Waste Action, this innovative event will feature opportunities for bird watching led by local ornithologist Martin Rule.

All volunteers who would like to help with the Nature Reserve and Beach clean are welcome and should come to the car park for 10am, armed with suitable clothing such as wellies, waders, gloves and equipment although some litter pickers will be supplied.

We know that local people care passionately about their environment and are willing to commit time and energy to ensure it remains beautiful. We would encourage people to come down to Swanpool to help out and take a proactive role in keeping the local environment clean and tidy so that both locals and visitors can continue to enjoy this Nature Reserve/Beach and the surrounding environment.
